A Sprout Social alternative for agencies that run ads
Sprout Social is a full social media management suite. EveryComment does one job: every comment, ad comment, DM and review for every brand you run, in one list your team clears to zero. Here is how they differ, and what each costs today.
Free. Read-only. Unanswered comments, reply time and hostile comments under your ads, in about a minute.
Trial: 14 days free. Cancel any time. Unlimited seats.
Who each tool is for
Sprout Social is built for social media teams: publishing, a shared calendar, listening, reporting and an inbox, sold per seat. If your agency schedules posts and reports on reach, that breadth is what you are paying for.
EveryComment is built for the person who answers comments under paid ads. It does not publish, schedule or report on reach. It reads every comment and message, writes a draft reply in the brand’s voice, and puts the oldest waiting person at the top.
Many agencies need both. The question this page answers is which one your account managers should live in when the job is answering buyers under ads.

Prices in US dollars, billed monthly. Every plan has a 14-day free trial and unlimited seats, and on any plan each brand beyond the ones it includes is $30 a month. The AI drafts are shared by all the brands on the plan. At the limit the AI stops writing drafts ahead of time for the rest of the month, anyone can still ask for a draft up to a tenth past it, and the count starts again on the 1st. A card is taken at sign-up and charged when the trial ends unless you cancel first.

The unit is the difference. Sprout Social charges for each person who signs in. EveryComment charges for each brand and lets you invite your whole team and the client’s team too. An agency with ten brands and eight people pays for ten brands, not eight seats.

A fair note in Sprout Social’s favour: its plans include tools EveryComment does not have at all. If you need publishing and reporting in the same place, a per-seat price buys more than an inbox.
What EveryComment does with an ad comment
- Shows the ad creative beside the comment, so you know what the person saw before you write a word.
- Drafts the reply in the brand’s voice, from a profile you check at set-up (the AI can fill it in from the brand’s website) and from every edit your team makes.
- Drafts a public reply and a private message together, and sends both with one key.
- Hides a hostile comment with one key, and can hide clearly hostile ad comments on its own, within a daily cap you set, if you switch that on.
- Sends the lead to any CRM through a signed webhook, with an AI summary of the conversation.
The AI writes drafts. It never sends a reply on its own: a person reads each one, changes it if they like, and presses send. For a very negative comment it writes no draft at all and recommends hiding the comment instead.
What EveryComment does not do
- No publishing, no calendar, no listening, no reporting on reach or engagement.
- Four platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Google Business and TikTok.
- No built-in CRM connections. Leads leave by webhook.
- The AI never sends a reply by itself. Every message is approved by a person.
Running clients in one inbox
Each brand keeps its own connected accounts, its own AI voice and its own lead webhook. One list shows every brand, with the brand marked on each row, and you can filter to one client when you are on a call with them. Invite the client’s team too at no extra cost; everyone in the workspace sees every brand.
Questions.
Can EveryComment replace Sprout Social?
Only if the work you do in Sprout Social is answering comments and messages. It has no publishing, calendar, listening or reporting. Agencies that need those keep them and use EveryComment for the inbox.
Does it import from Sprout Social?
No. You connect the brand’s accounts directly, and a guided set-up walks you through each brand.
